CapabilityStatement

A conformant PSGC terminology server declares its capabilities as follows.

$subsumes	SHALL	Part-of hierarchy testing
$translate	SHALL	Version evolution mapping
$expand-psgc	SHOULD	Full-text search
$geo-lookup	SHOULD	Parent/level query
$geo-hierarchy	SHOULD	Full ancestry resolution
$resolve-psgc	MAY	Requires PostGIS spatial data

Minimum Version Support

A conformant server:

• SHALL support at least one PSGC version
• SHOULD support the two most recent quarterly releases
• SHOULD compute evolution mappings between adjacent releases
• MAY support all historical releases back to Q2 2021

Data Source

The authoritative source is the PSA PSGC Publications page. A conformant server SHOULD load data from official PSA publication datafiles (XLSX format).
